Campaign
for Justice
Michael
Lloyd Powell (known as Mikey),
and cousin of renown poet & writer Benjamin Zephaniah,
died in police custody on 7th September 2003 following a call
from his mother
who was concerned that he was in a distressed state, and might
do himself harm.
The Mikey Powell Campaign for Justice shows solidarity with other
families
that have lost loved ones, and we support the call for reform
within police,
penal & mental health institutions across the country.
